I began my life in web development back when I was moonlighting as an adjunct professor in graduate school. I made games for my chemistry and biology students that gave them more practice problems and a chance to play with concepts from class.

I pursued more complex projects in my first faculty position, building a whole host of full-stack apps ranging from custom homework platforms to research tools for driving computational simulations. As the scope of my efforts grew, my undergraduate audience constantly helped me to remember the importance of inviting and accessible design.

Now, with additional years of industry experience, I am very proud to have kept that first creative spark alive!
